our story
LEI-NA began with a feeling many women quietly recognise: struggling to find underwear that fits right – not just in size, but in spirit.
As Asian women, we often encountered this gap. Underwear was either overly conservative or overly sexual – rarely made with our bodies, aesthetics, or values in mind.
We craved something soft yet elevated. Sensual yet comfortable. Intimate yet effortless.
Our name reflects that intent.
Lei – like the flower garland, a gentle offering.
나 (na) – in Korean it means "me", the self.
Together, an invitation to come back to yourself.
why we exist
We care about what we eat. We care about what we put on our skin.
Why wouldn’t we care about what we wear closest to our bodies?
LEI-NA exists to change that.
Because quality isn’t just about softness – it’s about what’s inside the fabric.
Sustainability isn't just about recycling – it's about making things well enough to last.
And the most functional garment you own shouldn't be the least considered.
We believe in elevating the everyday,
turning basics from a passive afterthought into a pleasurable, intentional choice.
why organic cotton?
Your skin is your body's largest organ, and the fabric closest to it matters most.
Cotton has been the gold standard for underwear for good reason: as a natural plant fiber with a hollow, porous structure, it allows air to circulate and draws moisture away from the skin rather than trapping it.
Synthetic materials work against this: they hold heat and moisture in ways that can irritate and disrupt your body's natural balance over time.
For underwear that is worn against some of the body's most sensitive areas, the choice of material is not one to overlook.
what is GOTS® certified?
GOTS certified
We use GOTS® certified organic cotton because organic means nothing without verification.
Conventional cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive crops in the world. Residues from those chemicals and synthetic finishes can remain in the finished fiber.
Organic cotton eliminates those inputs at the source – no synthetic pesticides, no harmful processing chemicals – leaving a material that is naturally hypoallergenic and gentler on skin over years of wear. GOTS® is the most rigorous organic certification in the textile industry.
Unlike certifications that only verify how cotton is grown, GOTS® traces the entire supply chain: from raw fiber to finished garment – restricting toxic dyes, bleaches, and chemical treatments at every stage. It's the only standard that makes a claim like "organic" truly trustworthy.

production
GOTS certified OEKO-TEX certified BCI
We pay careful attention to the materials we use – from our raw materials, to dyes, to packaging. We believe we have a responsibility to our planet, to our makers, and to you.
Dyeing: Our cotton is dyed using OEKO-TEX®-certified dyes, free from toxic chemicals and safe against skin.
Packaging: Packaging is kept deliberately minimal: kraft mailers and Vela™ paper garment bags, both fully recyclable. Even our garment pouches are made from GOTS®-certified organic cotton.
Sourcing: Our fabric is sourced and dyed locally in Portugal by a company dedicated to producing sustainable, high quality fabrics. The cotton is sourced in alignment with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a global non-profit that trains farmers in more responsible practices: using water efficiently, reducing pesticide use, and improving working conditions across the supply chain.
Manufacturing: We partner with a small, privately-owned factory in Portugal that has been making underwear for over two decades.
